Over the past two months...❤
Why, hello people... I'm back to my personal blog for the first time in over two months. A little bit of everything and a little bit of nothing has been going on, so much to the point where I had to cut off my wrestling blog for an entire week... which sucked. I'm glad that I finally have time to sit down and reminisce over these past couple of months, and hopefully you guys out there actually enjoy reading what I did as much as I have actually carrying on with these activities. So, here goes nothing...
- I'm an FFA Officer. I have been selected as an FFA Officer, more specifically - Chaplain (basically, I pray for the sake of the members and the chapter as a whole). Although I was appointed officer back in May, I did not fully begin my duties until August 4th, which I had to dress out (ALREADY.) and to interact with members of the NERSBA School Board. It was awkward, but interesting, since I was able to actually talk to people who "watch over us". if you will, and they pay real close attention to our progress.
- Exercise. Been getting my stuff in (Brian Cage reference) with a little exercise here and there. Not too much, not too little, but just right... for me.
- College Classes. I began online college courses at Martin Community College. I am currently taking three classes: Health, Business and American Government, and by the Grace of GOD, and my will to work... I AM AHEAD!!! I'm touring the campus later this month, but from what I've heard, it isn't but soooo big, so I'm expecting this tour to be short and sweet. We also get to meet our professors, which is really going to be awkward, since I have been blowing up two out of three of my professors' emails in just a matter of three weeks!
- First FFA Meeting... as an officer. Oh, Lord. August 27th, 2015 marks the most nerve-racking day of my life... so far. When it was time for the meeting, I really thought I was going to die in front of 210 other students. While reciting my part, I was thinking to myself, "Jesus, what am I doing?!?!", but the meeting turned out to be a success, and some of the teachers regarded the meeting to be one of the best meetings we've had. The next day, I asked several other students out of curiosity how I did at the meeting. Most of them said "You did great! Great job!", but I did not accept it on the inside, especially since I blanked out in front of the whole student body for five seconds. My good friend Jared told me that I was the only officer who actually got a "reaction" from the other students, or whatever he meant by that. I thought, "Wow. Didn't think I got it like that.", but nonetheless, I am very proud of myself, the other officers, and everyone who inspires us to keep going.
- FINAL Degree Acquisition. I am happy to finally say that the degree that I wish to obtain is INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS. Yep, that's right. I have been a fan of cultures and governments of other countries around the world, more specifically: Argentina, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Greece, Germany and the United Kingdom. In other words, I'm a "worldist" or a "mundophile", because I am so enthused and captivated by other countries and cultures around the world. I am currently getting advice from anywhere that is possible, and making the absolute best of my resources. Also, I am still looking up pro wrestling schools, and that option will never go out the window as far as I am concerned.
Seems like a lot... right? Right?! Well, that's all for me. Be looking forward to more posts on this blog, and my wrestling blog, too. Looking to go back and forth between them, so if I'm not tip-tapping on this blog, you know where to find me. Adios, Salud, Sayranara (Japanese for "goodbye", but I think I spelled it wrong) and until next time!
Song of the Day - "Jinx" by Tuxedomoon, a band that I fell in love with recently, but I do not realize why I have not fell in love with them much sooner.
