Alo, alo everyone! I feel super accomplished today. My "Fit for the Summer" program really kicked off today. I did a good amount of butt burning workouts and I even made up a random post-workout smoothie afterwards! Here it goes!
What's the best thing about having the house to yourself? WORKING OUT, of course. Here's what I did:
What's the best thing about having the house to yourself? WORKING OUT, of course. Here's what I did:
- *50 Squats (first day of my second 30-Day Squat Challenge)
- *30 left and right static lunges
- *5 crunches (first day of my Brazilian Ab Challenge :D)
- *5 leg raises (first day of my Brazilian Ab Challenge :D)
- *12 second plank (first day of my Brazilian Ab Challenge :D)
- *60 Jumping Jacks
- *2:40 total Wall Sit
- *40 additional leg raises
- 1/4 of a can of Mucho Mango Arizona
- 5 ice cubes
- 3-5 sliced apples
That's it! I mean it's not much, but it worked for me, and it was delicious, too! This just shows that you can use foods around your own home to make a pre- and/or post-workout smoothie, that keeps money in your pockets. YAY!
Also, here is a small video of me mixing and blending the smoothie!
This just all works out perfectly, because I am going to the beach with some family this weekend (not that I am trying to garner any attention). I am super excited since I haven't been to the beach in almost two years! I'll be posting pics of my time there as well!
