Fit Summers...❤
Alo, alo, everyone!!! I am officially getting my "fit for the summer" program on. Of course, there are many of you out there who are doing the same thing (so don't even play, haha). Today, I am taking baby steps. Why? Well, you should not just jump in and do everything at once. Doing fitness exercises takes time, and a bit of practice if you ask me. Think of it as if you are going up a flight of stairs. You're stepping on one step at a time, right? Well, fitness is the same way. Set a goal for yourself, and STICK WITH IT.
As I said, today I started off small, doing a simple Zumba choreo to "Makina" by Los Teke Teke (which is a fun song, by the way). If you are a Zumba fanatic like myself, you should give this a go!
Also, I am going to revamp the 30-Day Squat Challenge. I managed to make it to Day 30 on my first try, but I did not reach the number of squats each day. I'm doing it again and this time, I'm gonna KILL this... MUAHAHAHA!!! We all need a little inspiration, eh? Well two of my main inspirations for this summer are: Fitness & Bikini Model Lais DeLeon and "Mr. GMSI (Get My Shit In)" Brian Cage, who is, ya guessed it, a professional wrestler and he's also a competitive bodybuilder and fitness coach in his own right.
I also found some cool fitness websites that are full of supplements gear, online coaches and free articles and videos to help you get started. One in particular is Body Spartan, which was created by former WWE Superstar and current Independent wrestler Tyler Reks. He, along with a team of fitness studs and coaches, run the website to give you the latest on what's going on in the fitness world, and their signature sleeveless hoodies are a must, too! To close things out, there is NO excuse as to why a person is not exercising. Yes, you may have a busy work schedule, but that does not mean you can't dedicate 10-20 minutes of your time to exercising. Trust me, it can truly make a difference. You do not have to have the best muscles or toned out abs, but just get your body to shape that best fits YOU. Nothing or no one is holding you back. Get up and do it!
