The Holiday Bells Are A Ringin'...
Hello, everyone! Today is a rather nippy, chilly day and if ya ask me: I’m ESTATIC! I have gotten so tired of the hot weather that it was ridiculous! The cool weather also signifies the time of holidays, the time of togetherness with your family and time for as they say, “Christmas Cheer!” I am not the type of person who is all enthusiastic about the holidays, but let’s just say that the main objective of my excitement is to be able to spend time with my family and stay in the house!
By the way, my Christmas List has already been set. All I really want is some new Wrestling Merch and a new MP3 Player (hey, I’m old school, bite me), because the MP3 I have stopped working last week. I haven’t had that thing for a full year! GRRR…
Good news that I have today is that I started my 30-Day Squat Challenge with a bang! I managed to successfully do 50 squats without stopping anf on top of that, I did the one minute wall sit! The wall sit was not in my plans, but I managed to hold out for a full minute! My legs were wobbly (and for a moment, I thought I was going to fall) and it hurt badly, but as they say, it signifies that you’re doing something right.
This is how I started my challenge, and how I will most likely go about it for the full 30 days:
• I woke up 5 minutes before I usually do. 5:55 am to the exact.
• Found a flat platform (NOT THE FLOOR) to stand on. In this case, I picked a towel, because I do not have the professional yoga mat… bite me.
• Then, I did the expected 50 squats, but in a moderate pace. Not too fast, but not too slow.
• Next, I set a timer for one minute and I did the wall sit. I set a funky tune on the timer to let me know when the minute was up.
• Lastly, I recorded my results in my new fitness notebook! You think I’m playing? Check this out:
What I might do is challenge some friends and family to do this, just to see if they are brave enough to do it (*evil laugh*); and I hope you readers out there would be willing to take on the challenge as well.
That’s it for me today! I hope you guys enjoy some of the randomness in this post, for I will blow your head up with this randomness if your continue to read bout my journey down the road. See ya!
