30-Day Squat Challenge Update, My Fitspirations, Music... ❤🎶

Hello, everyone! Sorry for not posting anything all week. I have been extremely busy with school, family, wrestling blogging, projects, and studying for exams. However, I'm glad that I am able to update you guys about what's been going on with me.

My 30-Day Squat Challenge is going rather well. I am on a roll! I have been able to hit the required number of squats for 6 days (I had one rest period in the first seven days) and I managed to do extra exercise routines on the side. Here's the update and I hope you guys marvel at the number of squats and other extensive exercises I have done:

  • Day 1 (11/17/14): 50 Squats + 1 minute Wall sit
  • Day 2 (11/18/14): 55 Squats + 1.5 minute Wall sit
  • Day 3 (11/19/14): 60 Squats + 1 minute Wall sit + 20 Glute Kickbacks (10 per side)
  • Day 4 (11/20/14): REST + 20 Glute Kickbacks (10 per side)
  • Day 5 (11/21/14): 70 Squats + 20 Glute Kickbacks (10 per side)
  • Day 6 (11/22/14): 75  Squats + 60 Side Lunges + 10 Jump Squats + 10 Hip Lifts
  • Day 7 (11/23/14): 80 Squats + Side Lunges (10 per side) + 10 Hip Lifts + 20 Glute Kickbacks (10 per side)
Total Number of Squats: 340!!! YAY!!!

There it is! Let me be honest with you, I never thought for a second that I would be doing extensive workouts like these and taking my body to the limit. Just feeling the burn is an awesome feeling, because I know that I am doing the exercises correctly. There are no shortcuts, and it is NEVER too soon to have the best body that you can possibly have. Work Grind, Determination and Motivation is key, and I see myself doing these sorts of workouts for a long time.

As for my "fitspirations", I have a ton! You may assume from the get-go that the majority of them are professional wrestlers, due to the fact that I am an avid fan and they work their bodies to the peek, but the main ones that come to my mind are: Carol Seleme Daniel, Seth Rollins, and Michelle Lewin.

Just yesterday, I watched some Carol Seleme videos and I took some of her workouts and put it into my own regime. She is a model but she does fitness videos on the side to give some tips on how to have healthy body. Also, she's one of my girl crushes and a very beautiful woman.

Then you have Michelle Lewin, who I actually saw on my Pinterest as I was looking up fitness motivations. One of my favorite quotes by her is "Don't wish for it, work for it." As I said earlier, there are shortcuts in being fit and having the healthy body, you have to be able to put in the work and be willing the feel that burn and take your body to the absolute limit!

My third main fitspiration is none other than WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Not only have I been following his wrestling career for some time now (since his days in ROH to be exact), I have been looking at his workout regime on social network, especially Twitter and Instagram. He's got me into these drinks and bars to help after working out at the gym. KillCliff Energy Drinks, Nuun, Progenex, and Quest Bars are just some of the products I discovered through him. Here's a pic from his Instagram. Let me just say, he looks... HOT (what? bite me!)

Last thing before I wrap this up, I am a MUSIC FANATIC! From latin genres to metal genres, I am always listening to music for any reason. I'm thinking of doing this thing on this blog where I do a song of the day. Well, the first ever song of the day is... *drum roll,*

"Wiseman" by one of my all-time favorite reggae bands, Slightly Stoopid!
