Food, Food and MORE Food... ❤

Hello, everyone! Hope you guys are enjoying your Spring Break. I know I am, because sleeping in and spending time with family is ALWAYS a wonderful thing in my book. Today's topic is specifically stated in the title... food, food and MORE food. Despite my small stature, I love to eat! Every time there is a family reunion or a time that I go out to eat at a restaurant, I eat up to 4-5 plates of food. Sometimes, I do not know how my small body can digest all the food I eat. Maybe it's because my metabolism... it is as high as the sky as I type this! I just love food, and I hope that the foods that I am about to list interests you guys, too! Here we go! (haha)

My Favorite Restaurants to go to:

  • Hibachis - they have the BEST seafood - esp. crabs, lobsters, octopus (yes, you are reading this right), and crawfish!
  • Cheddars - Even though I've ate here only once, the food was delicious! However, do not go to this restaurant at night, it takes you forever to get a table!
  • Bahama Breeze - I ate at this restaurant in Raleigh, which marks the first time that I've ever tasted Mollusks. The mollusks were in a dish called Seafood Paella (example pictured below), and I highly recommend this dish to any seafood lovers out there. It's very tasty and I would love to eat mollusks again. :)

Favorite Foods to eat at home:
Before I start this list, my Grandmother is the best cook to ever walk the Earth! Yeah, I said it! Here's a list of foods that shows why my Grandma is a better cook than yours.

  • Greens
    • Collards
    • Green Beans
    • Broccoli
    • Salad (a type of collard)
    • ETC...
  • Meats
    • Chicken - fried, boiled.. doesn't matter!
    • Tenderloin
    • ... those are the main two that I can think about!
  • Desserts
    • Cold-cut Banana Pudding
    • Strawberry Shortcake
    • Chocolate Cake
    • Pumpkin Pie
    • Honeybun Cake
    • Chocolate Chip COOKIES!
Guilty Pleasures - Being a fitness enthusiast, it can always come with its twists and turns. My sweet tooth is churning more since I am turning my focus to more healthy foods. I eat candy - but not too much to settle my sweet tooth (haha). I feel that there are ways out there to resist the urge to eat sweet foods. Oh, if only I knew what they were, and how to use them...

That's it for this one. Hope I didn't make you guys too hungry. See ya! :D
